About NIC: Founded by educator and researcher Emilia Queiroga Barros, the Nucleus of Sciences Integration (NIC) promotes the Integrative Age through an international network of thinkers, specialists, and institutions. NIC’s work spans five key areas: Territorial Transformation, Health and Well-being, Science and Technology, Integrative Education, and Consciousness and Spirituality. NIC’s partnerships include UNESCO, SEBRAE, Petrobras, and the Governments of Minas Gerais, Bahia, and Acre, among others.
Integrative Territorial Transformation: Using our own methodology, we develop projects that consider the dynamic balance between nature, history and future (of a community, region, city, state or country), with a focus on sustainable prosperity. Our methodology includes revitalization and sustainable prosperity, seeking to revitalize and restore the integrity of a given area of activity, a person, a place or a region, always with the perspective of sustainable prosperity.
Health, Longevity and Well-being: We consider health to be an organizing axis of life, a concept that still needs to be further explored, through the application of knowledge and technologies that recognize life and the human being from an integrative perspective, in order to promote conditions so that the human being is capable of exercising the fullness of his or her well-being and achieving healthy longevity.
Science, Innovation and Technology: By integrating different areas of knowledge, we integrate expertise from universities, research centers and initiatives, generating new knowledge, integrated and innovative solutions for humanity’s global challenges.
Integrative Education: We recognize the human being as an entity with multiple intelligences with the potential to go far beyond what we see today. And we develop an education to promote the integrity of this human being by developing their potential in an integrated and complete way, aiming at their evolution, health and full fulfillment.
Consciousness and Spirituality: Spiritual science is the matrix of all other sciences, which emerged to answer fundamental questions such as: where do we come from, where are we and where are we going? Human beings are themselves an expression of spiritual science and co-creators of realities. The potential for transformation and improvement of the world in which we live lies in the expansion of their consciousness and their multiple intelligences. NIC understands that real, initiatory knowledge is the only way to overcome the chaos we face. The higher the level of consciousness, the better human attitudes become. NIC offers a series of products and services that help people on the path to self-knowledge and self-transformation, both in personal and professional contexts.

TERRITORIAL TRANSFORMATION IGARASSU
In 2024, among other activities in the Territorial transformation axis, the NIC turns its attention to the city of Igarassu, located in the metropolitan region of Recife, in Pernambuco.

Igarassu, already considered the birthplace of the Brazilian nation, will retell the true story, which precedes the chronology of the discovery of Brazil.
NIC, through its Rede Viva and the RRT – Rapid Response Team, made up of a wide range of partners and institutions with expertise in different areas, is developing the project tailored to the city and region.
Our focus ranges from the preservation of resources to the appreciation of historical, cultural and social heritage, including interventions in emergency situations, always using the most advanced global technological solutions integrated into the most daring future development scenarios.
Why Igarassu?
Igarassu is a historical and natural pearl, where tradition meets modernity in an enchanting setting. Its natural beauty, combined with its rich history, make it a unique place, worthy of worldwide recognition.
We are committed to enhancing these characteristics, promoting sustainable development and economic growth in the region, without compromising its cultural and environmental identity.
