Why I Contribute My Little Drop

WHY I CONTRIBUTE MY LITTLE DROP

May 29-18

Almost every day
my mailbox
receives at least
one letter
from a
worthy nonprofit
outreach agency.

Like many of you,
I set an annual goal
for my
financial
contributions.

Just like you,
I want to serve
and give
and participate in
ways that lessen
poverty, injustice
and inequality
in our global
family.

Avani
is one of my
top priorities
because
I am committed
to the Gandhi
way of
nonviolent
service.

I have visited
Avani;
I have witnessed
the integrity,
commitment,
and quality
of individuals
who are teaching
and building
and sacrificing
so that these
children, otherwise
left unprotected,
orphaned,
and uneducated,
will not be abandoned
and abused
in child labor,
in sex traffic,
in the abyss of
ruthless
usury.

Granted,
the bucket of needs
is astronomical,
and what I donate
is one little drop.

Your drop and
my drop
make two
drops.
Other drops
with our drops
will eventually
expand into a
critical mass.

Thank you
for dropping
your donation
into our
Avani Bucket!!
