The images, taken by Harvard fellow Mr Kara and released by CNN, drew criticism from Save The Children. ‘We are concerned about reports of young children working on construction sites,’ said the charity.

Why adults letting them to work. They can stop them but they won’t. The news again tries to blame Indian government, what they can do if their parents do not care about their child. They require awareness here, not boycotting the games.

  3. People posting these pictures are shallow and sarcastic. their “Gumption” fails to see that this is not so called Child Labor.Poor people can’t leave their children at a creche my dear. This is poverty struck India, the ‘other’ India which has yet so far failed to catch up.
And those who have left India after being blessed with subsidized education for their own selfish aspirations and a greener grass of the west have the least right in the world to comments upon this. Because of these coward people India lag behind.
Pl don’t ever try to cite FDI. to balance the uneducated and backward lot India required bright young educated youth but they have showed a back to her.
Just imagine all the brighter young population is lured by the developed countries’ glitter. Who who will complement the notorious youth left behind, they only eventually join polities and largely take part in social activities and thus India is pushed behind. Mind you the Another part of advancing India is gifted by the youth patriots who stay back and put Country’s interests ahead of their own.

people who have stranded their nation hav eno right to pelt stones on the nations image. We shall have to care of that. its only a matter of time, we shall prevail.

Well, eliminating child labor takes education, poverty reduction, and time. But sad indeed!
